The Red Crested Pochards are so amazing cute and colourful birds and as I have followed them in so many places like Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park), Manglajodi in Odisha ,Purulia Murumguma Dam and recently at Chupi-r-Chor (Purbosthali) in West Bengal and found one thing in common that they are very shy birds as regards to going closer to them for photography purpose except at Muruguma Dam where may be because the human habitation was quite near by they were rather comfortable in my presence and they are quite aquatinted with human interaction .
