Signature shots of Manglajodi

Manglajodi Wetlands in Odisha is a heartthrob for all wildlife photographers across the Globe to witness Killer shots of Black Headed Ibis and Purple Heron engulfing Snakes and Frogs.

It’s Purple Heron engulfing a live snake and it took around 10 minutes allowing me to snap a few 100 shots from different angles from a boat. It’s Black Headed Ibis again engulfing a live snake and it allowed photographers like me to shoot continuously for not less than 5-10 minutes from nearby . Getting a glimpse of Ruddy-shell Duck landing into water at Manglajodi is always heartthrob for photographers like me to shoot. Black Headed Ibis catching a From from the wetland and engulfing it live.

Fighting Black tailed Godwits is a common sight in Manglajodi for their territory.

That day although the weather weather was foggy still I was lucky to witness a White Breasted Kingfisher to catch a fish and pose before my lens.

Manglajodi Wetlands in Odisha is hardly 70-75 km away from the capital city Bhubaneswar in Odisha and Bhubaneswar is well connected by rail, road and air from all parts of India and have many Eco-Tourism resorts there to stay.

The main season for photography starts from November till mid March to witness many migratory birds coming from colder zones across the Globe.
