Gramophone…..a Vintage look

Gramophone…..a nostalgic Indulgence and a Vintage look

I am so happy to get back a new Gramophone a replica of those Gramophones & It’s a real nostalgic feel that I was longing for. Thanks to Kolkata’s “Nostalgia Heritage shops” to portray the oldest mechanical music player.

The Metal pin with a diaphragm plays with the most natural of tones captured in those Golden era on records.

A gramophone record is a flat disk that is usually made of plastic. The sound is recorded on a very fine line or groove which goes around and around in a spiral from the outside edge of the disk to the center. The phonograph plays the sound with a needle that touches the groove.

History says…

A History of the Gramophone Record. The first records were on cylinders, the earliest of which were made by the inventor of the first ‘Phonograph’, Thomas Alva Edison in 1877. Attempts had been made of ‘recording’ sound much earlier than this, but none were capable of reproducing the human voice.

I am really so excited 😆 & happy ! How about you my dear !😍
