Destination Odisha…Unique in many ways

Odisha a Destination Unique in many ways.And to be honest most parts of Odisha are unexplored even.

I would love to share some unique shots taken over years from different locations in Odisha and it’s just an overview and not complete unless I explore many more places from Odisha.

The Monk…..a click I took in 2015 during Nabakalebara Rath Yatra in Puri.Puri is famous for Lord Jagannath Temple and Hindu devotees from across the Globe come here through out the year for worshipping The Deity.

It’s the unique Chandrabhaga Sea Beach near Konark Temple.The unique Sun Temple of International repute.

Puri Sea Beach the unique beach with peace and tranquility in the air. Tourism is the main source of livelihood of this scenic town Puri.

Giant Squirrels are so unique to Kuldiha Wildlife Forests and it is hardly 50 km away from Balasore town on eastern Odisha.

Spotted deer’s are so unique to watch here too in best of it’s calm and tranquility in the vicinity .

Red crabs though almost extinct in most parts of Odisha coast line but they are quite abundant here in Dagara Sea Beach the unique virgin Beach in Balasore district.

The Mangalajodi Eco-tourism is the latest most sought after destination for Birders Photographers and scientists who come here mostly during onset of winter and it’s about 70 km away from Bhubaneswar the capital of Odisha.

Watching a Glossy Ibis is a real charm & more than 200 different species from all over the Globe migrate here to spend the warm winter.

The Jagannath Temple newly built by Emami group near Remuna in Balasore is a most sought after tourist destination being an architectural fusion of Puri Jagannath temple & Sun Temple of Konark.

Rath Yatra of Baripada is unique of it’s kind and Subhadra’s Rath(Chariot) is being solely driven by only women devotees.

Tribals playing king-size drums during Rath Yatra is an unique of it’s kind to observe at Baripada.

Chandipur Sea Beach is famous for it’s uniqueness being the only sea beach where during low-tide time the water recedes back & anybody can walk in to the sea upto 2-3 kms with just knee-deep water.

Friends….I have just complied some shots which I clicked over years and there are a lot more tourist destinations to explore here in Odisha.
