Elephant Lake ~Kupup Valley~

Beautiful Elephant Lakeat Kupup Valley

It was a “blue waterlake surrounded by “Snowy mountains”all around & the temperature was sub-zero when I got down from my Innova to click this shot on lake side from a distance of around 300 mtrs . It is at about 16000ft high above mean_sea_level near Kupup Valley . It’s a very beautiful snow filled valley through out the year on Eastern Sikkim in India .

Not just a beautiful landscape but the real beauty is the view of “Kanchenjunga Top”

The snow clad Valley and small hills add to the beauty of the “Kupup Valley”

View of the valley from another angle filled with snow all through the journey .

The beautiful road from”Baba Mandir”with snow on both sides leading towards “Elephant Lake” .

How to reach there:-One can book such a Trip with many more combinations of places to stay through “local travel & tour” agents at “Siliguri” and all these informations are available these days on internet. Reaching Siliguri from any parts of India is easy through rail road or by air(Bagdogra Airport).

All My snaps are with #Nikon D5300 11-20 #Tikona lens.Date of shot:16.04.2017
