“Beautiful Elephant Lake” at Kupup Valley

It was a “blue water” lake surrounded by “Snowy mountains”all around & the temperature was sub-zero when I got down from my Innova to click this shot on lake side from a distance of around 300 mtrs . It is at about 16000ft high above mean_sea_level near Kupup Valley . It’s a very beautiful snow filled valley through out the year on Eastern Sikkim in India .

Not just a beautiful landscape but the real beauty is the view of “Kanchenjunga Top”

How to reach there:-One can book such a Trip with many more combinations of places to stay through “local travel & tour” agents at “Siliguri” and all these informations are available these days on internet. Reaching Siliguri from any parts of India is easy through rail road or by air(Bagdogra Airport).
