“Jagannath Mandir” a Fusion @Balasore

Jagannatha Swami Nayana Patha Gami Bhabatu mey”

“Odishan”culture is very well known as “Jagannath Culture”.Our deity is “Lord Jagannath“.Apart from Jagannath Mandir at Puri unlikely at Balasore one new Jagannath Temple has been built by Emami Paper Mill at Remuna in Balasore district of Odisha .

Balasore is a city of Odisha on the east coast on the Bay of Bengal. It is well connected by rail and road from Kolkata and Bhubaneswar the capital of Odisha. It is only 240 km away from Kolkata by road and 200 km away from Bhubaneswar .

The Architecture  as well as illumination during night time is matter of pride for people of Balasore and the Tourists rush to this Temple to have a night view .

Many tourist from all over Odisha and adjoining states like West Bengal and Bihar & other places have made Balasore a destination to enjoy the beauty of this  Temole and  apart from that “Chandipur sea beach”and “Pancha Lingeswara Shiva Temple”at Nilgiri hills are there to visit .

There is the famous “Khirachora Gopinath Temple” at “Remuna” and the legend says-Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu visited this temple in 18th century AD . “Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu”is “Icon” of “Baishnab Dharma”.

It’s a fusion of Puri Jagannath Temple and Sun Temple of Konark .The Wheels of Konark Temple are well engraved and it creates a long lasting memory .

The Architecture is just a replica of Jagannath Temple of Puri .
It is very well maintained by Emami Paper mill and hardly 7 to 8 km away from Balasore city.
